Moving is VERY stressful, so I’m quite happy to say we were extremely pleased with our experience with Boulder Valley Transfer. My wife and I had gotten quotes from four different moving companies, and BVT wasn’t the cheapest nor were they the most expensive – they were right in the middle. My wife just really enjoyed the salesman (Mario?) and felt good about working with them. Lucy at their office was a real pleasure to work with, and kept everything organized, even when we asked to change the date of our move!

In the last 18 months, I’ve had to move twice within Boulder County. I chose Boulder Valley Transfer for my first move and was very happy with their professionalism and attention to detail. So I was more than happy to use them again for my second move. As expected, the move went great, even when I had to change the moving date at the last minute. Highly recommend.

We had two phases to our short move: 1) move the items from our 2-bedroom place to our new house just over a mile away. We did the packing, and Clemente and Alberto (and their truck) did a great job with the move! They were courteous and so careful with everything! 2) a couple of days later, unload two 16′ pods at the new house. Again, the BVT team (Marcos, Santiago, Clemente and Miguel) did great! And, all of this with just a few days notice. The movers were great, but so was the office team… Mario (the estimator) was fun and helpful, and Lucy and Tabitha were so polite, prompt, and professional. Great and thorough communications too! These folks were probably slightly higher than the lowest-cost options, but well worth a few extra dollars for the professionalism, communications, friendliness, and 100% competence! We’ve already been recommending these folks to others with full confidence.

Boulder Valley Transfer was outstanding and helpful throughout the journey of our move. From the initial contact throughout the entire move, everyone we dealt with was professional and very pleasant. All the employees seemed to truly enjoy their job, and handled our belongings as if they were theirs. The initial estimate that we received is the same amount we paid. I would highly recommend them, and will use them again on our next move.

Our Realtor recommended BVT and we are so glad! We had to cancel our original move in date as our sign in date got pushed back and you guys were able to accommodate our schedule which we really appreciated. We had a lot of stairs and your guys were amazing. The best part was we moved into a new home and there wasn’t one scratch on the walls or anywhere else because the movers. Great job!

We just used BVT a second time in just a few months. The order-taking is efficient, the movers arrived on time, and they were careful and efficient, did NOT waste any time to maybe puff up the final bill, and were polite and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more.

I have used BVT on two occasions—16 years ago and just recently. Both times the service was outstanding. The movers were efficient, knowledgeable, and careful. Each time I heard not even one ding on the walls as furniture was being moved up and down stairs and around corners. The pleasantness of Lucy, the phone receptionist, is what convinced me to try BVT a second time.

Boulder Valley Transfer (BVT) moved us from one house to another in the same town, so it was not a very complicated move. That said, the BVT staff were amazing and everything went exactly as it should have. They came to pack on time, they got us loaded up, moved, and unpacked in one day, nothing was lost or broken, and the crew members were awesome! Very polite, dedicated to the job at hand and STRONG (we have a couple of very heavy chests that they had to get up two flights of stairs with landings and tight corners…no damage to furniture or walls)! We chose BVT because friends recommended them, and in turn, we recommended them to the woman who bought our old house! They deserve the excellent reputation they enjoy in Boulder County.

We have used Boulder Valley Transfer 3 times for our families. They have always been very professional and reasonable in price. And enjoyable to work with. The movers are efficient, and hard workers. They were very careful with our items and offered a number of times to relocate things if we wanted them in a different room. Our family will use them again in the future if needed.

Staff always available, informative, communicative – Lucy, the general manager, Mario who gave me the estimate and actually came to my house although only a 1-bedroom apt. And the movers, Clemente and Jeff who were on time picking up and delivering, expertly packed nothing broken or missing.

I used Boulder Valley Transfer for a move into storage and the crew was amazing. I have moved numerous times and this was by far the best experience. When they delivered to our brand new home they protected our hardwood floors, carpet, walls and rails. No damages! I highly recommend Boulder Valley Transfer. Don’t base your decision on bad reviewers. There is always 2 sides to a story. Also check out there Louisville yelp reviews. Their main office is located in Louisville (I found out when I returned my used boxes). Great job to our movers Jose T. Alberto and Juan Carlos!

Nothing broke! Not only that but Boulder Valley Transfer was really helpful in figuring out a complicated move. Their movers were so polite and very considerate of our house and our furniture. I hope I don’t have to move again for a long, long time but I will absolutely use Boulder Valley Transfer again when I do.

Our recent move was the second time I have used Boulder Valley Transfer to relocate. The initial consultation/bid and contacts with Lucy showed their flexibility and willingness to work with changes and unforeseen potential problems. On moving day, the team showed up on time and completed the work in less time than the estimated amount of time, and my final invoice was well less than I had anticipated. Everything was handled respectfully and with care, taken apart and put back together on the other end. My repeat business was earned again!

Everything is 5 -star with BVT; We have used them for our parents into assisted living and on another occasion and will only hire them in the future. No need to shop around any more because it went like clockwork. Easy to schedule and communicate with the office . Also they have very pleasant, professional workers that handle our parent’s items with care and concern. Fast too. A++++ They took all the anxiety and stress out of the moves.

Yes … Boulder Valley Transfer IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS! My experience started with Mario Pena, Moving Consultant. I had gotten 3-bids and Mario answered my every question and returned my house a second time to sign the contract. I worked with Lucy Trujillo, Coordinator, who was very friendly and worked with my busy schedule. The day of the move, Jose (aka Freddy) and crew (Miguel, David and Clemente) were very accommodating. Went room by room, wrapped furniture in shrink wrap and blankets were used. I was very impressed when one of the crew members would bring an already blemish/scrape/dent to my attention. I would highly recommend Boulder Valley Transfer again All Boulder Valley Transfer representatives were professional, proficient, considerate, and are a big asset to Boulder Valley Transfer. I ask that you pass along my heartfelt thanks for their ‘can-do’ attitude.

I used Boulder Valley Transfer for a move out of my house to refinish my wood floors and then back into my house a week later. They did a great job — Very efficient and wrapped things properly, etc. Lucy was so professional and amazingly responsive throughout the whole process. Thanks for the great service!

I talked to three moving companies. BVT was the only one that would come to the house to give us an estimate, the others just based their estimate on square footage. We went with BVT and we don’t regret it. They came in knowing we were on edge and were so professional. They were quick in packing our house. When they came in the next day to load the truck, again, they were professional and took great care in moving our belongings. No damage done to the house…how they managed to get the furniture down the staircase is still puzzling to me! When they showed up the next day to deliver everything, again friendly, professional. Everything came in without any marks on any walls. And here’s the most amazing part….once we were unpacked, not one item was damaged. I have nothing but praise for BVT. You won’t regret hiring them.
